  • Generations after generations our ancestors have established a tradition for us to follow on every occasion. We always celebrate such traditional occasions with our families which adds and upholds family values. In this fast pacing environment to keep up our culture and tradition and to respect the family values we pass on our culture to the younger generation also. Diwali is one of the special traditional occasion established our elders. In respecting the same we follow all the traditional activities during this occasion and such action is to wear traditional dresses during Diwali. The saree is not just a piece of cloth draping a woman’s body but is a symbol of respect and empowerment. Wearing it and displaying the same during Diwali further showcase the empowerment of women who plays a larger role in keeping up the tradition.

  • Ethnic wear gives hard core feeling of our culture traditional values which is somewhat gone extinct. And nowadays this all modern culture is eating our tradition like termites .At least on our festivals we should stick to our roots n wear traditional clothes.

  • Diwali is a Hindus festival and it is a symbol of prosperity and happiness. People concern that, this day laxmi ji comes in house and where house’s lady keeps happy there laxmi ji certainly comes. this is why, on this day women wear ethnic wear because she can wear a lots of jewellery and accessories along with it for keeping happy.and other thing is that women look very beautiful and charming in ethnic wears.

  • Indian women are always on the lookout for wearing traditional and ethnic clothes and when the year serves them with an occasion such as Diwali, on a silver platter, nobody is to be stopped. Keeping to tradition, we light earthen lamps, decorate our houses with the prettiest lights, make amazingly colourful rangolis, worship Goddess Lakshmi, hence, welcoming Her to our amidst. After having done all according to tradition, we just can’t keep ourselves from dressing traditionally too. To fully engage ourselves in the fervor and festivities of Diwali, dressing up in Indian traditional dresses is a must. With a wrapping note, I hope fashionable tradition adorns us even more beautifully this Diwali. (P.S. After all Yellow Fashion is doing their job at their best) Wishing Yellow Fashion and all their customers a bright and safe Diwali!
