  3. Yes, my first holy after marriage is all time memorable for me. we both were not much interested to play with the artificial colours, and we were knowing that my husband’s friends would definitely come to play with horrible colours. So we decided a different plan. At the day of holy, early morning he asked me to get ready . I wore the first saree given by him after marriage. Offcourse it was of his choice, i.e. It was of purple colour jarul flowers.( I don’t know the english name for these flowers) It was 5.30 in the morning when we started walking. We were living in the town ’ Hinganghat’ in Wardha District. we walked for one hour and we were out of town.( we had no any vehicle except that of bicycle) And was the miracle ahead- The big trees at the both side of the road and even in the forest were fully covered with red and orange ‘palash ’ flowers. My husband was knowing it as he was in that town since long time. But it was new for me. That was the gift I got from my dear husband for holy. We sat under the trees for a long time. My husband picked palash flowers lying on the earth, and put in my hairs, small buds in my ears, and decorated me with flowers as much as possible. At last asked me,’ r u happy my dear ?’ I had no words to say. He is no more in the world, but I am sure, whereever he is ,he is definitely asking me ,’ are u happy my dear ?’ Yes ,I am.

  5. very happy holiday to all of you. My first holi was in 15 years back, and I remember I wear a maroon color saree. And we enjoyed a lot.

  6. Happy holi to all. On my first holi I wore a white saree with red border. This is the traditional holi saree to be worn by all married ladies at my in laws place.

  7. first of all happy holi to you and my first holi was very nice and its forgettable

  8. Hello. Happy Holi to everyone.
I got married in the month of February and holi was immediately in the next month. As a new bride I had all new sarees and had no idea what I would wear for holi. Then my sister in law came to my rescue and gave me one of her sarees to wear. It was a synthetic red bandhani saree. In those days we had a two wheeler. We literally painted the town red in that red saree, visiting my husband’s friends, playing colours, enjoying sweets. Just carefree fun.

  9. Hi yellow fashion, on my first holi I wore a multi coulored chiffon saree to camouflage with the holi spray .you won’t believe that saree I still wear on the same occasion holi and it make me remind of my married life how bright and colourful it is and every year it is adding more colours to my saree ad well as my life ……..

  10. 1’st holi was the most unforgetable experience. Not planned to play holi I wore a sea green coloured plain saree. But had to play and got all coloured.
Could’nt be recognized neither my saree color could be recognized . so at the end from sea green it became multi coloured
    Happy holi !
