India is a country rich in its culture, arts and craft. Every region has mastered a unique art that’s crafted on cloth, utensils, household items, potteries etc. the variety of designs, embroideries and patterns found here are innumerable. We have the bandhani, lehriya. Gotapatti, sequence, mirror work and a lot of other embroideries. All this work is found on Sarees and Salwar suits, however a lot of this has also been done of skirts. Skirts are feminine, flowy and very comfortable. So why not take a break from salwars and patialias and get a few ethnic skirts.
Ethnic skirts can go on western tops with chunky jewellery. Long, short, fish cuts, straight fits, lehenga styles with fun accessories is sure to make a style statement. To add more to it, tie a nice scarf or a stole that well matches your skirts. If your skirt is printed go for a plain coloured scarf and plain top. A pair of kolhapure’s or jutis will complete the look
A lot of ethnic shops sell ethnic skirts, in an array if length, styles and embroidery.
Its time you upgrade your wardrobe with a few smart ethnics.
