India is a country rich in its culture, arts and craft. We have the bandhani, lehriya. Gotapatti, sequence, mirror work and a lot of other embroideries. All this work is found on Sarees and Salwar suits, however a lot of this has also been done of skirts. Skirts are feminine, flowy and very comfortable. So why not take a break from salwars and patialias and get a few ethnic skirts.
Ethnic skirts can go on western tops with chunky jewellery. Long, short, fish cuts, straight fits, lehenga styles with fun accessories is sure to make a style statement. To add more to it, tie a nice scarf or a stole that well matches your skirts. If your skirt is printed go for a plain coloured scarf and plain top. A pair of kolhapure’s or jutis will complete the look
A lot of ethnic shops sell ethnic skirts, in an array if length, styles and embroidery.
Its time you upgrade your wardrobe with a few smart ethnics.
