With designer blouses and designer sarees, today the petticoat also demands equal attention. It’s no more just an underskirt but more of a garment adding beauty to the Saree. If you believe to keep up with the latest trends and love experimenting with your look than try this one for sure. Not everyone is open to experimenting with the petticoat, for most of the women its just an inner used in the Saree. Designer have time and again brought us a number of ways to drape the saree and to accessorize them. Today, a lot of women who wear saree go for designer blouses, ready-made sarees so now it’s time for the underskirt to follow the trend.

The Sheer Effect: A shimmered petticoat under a net saree gives it’s a completely different look altogether. The petticoat can be a golden jacquard, shimmer or in shades of bronze. It’s the perfect for an evening function or a party.

Embroidered Petticoat: The embroidered petticoat have been used by a lot of fashion designers and a lot of Bollywood divas have worn it. Sequences are used on the petticoat with a border to complete the look. A plain saree is preferred to be worn over it.

A neon coloured Saree can be worn over a contrast petticoat, giving you a young and funky look. Colours like green, yellow, orange can be accompanied with gold, silver or any such coloured petticoat.
